It really feels like you are in the plane . when you blow up door you can hear engines, and door gets sucked out WHen u lower ejection pod, crates get sucked out. Awesome map.

but someone said that if u shoot a window of an airplane in midflight it would blow open the plane and everybody would be sucked out.
that is not true, doesn't anybody watch mythbusters around here, c'mon people
if u shoot the doors and stuff, if u r near the door you will be sucked out, but a bullet hole in a window will not blow the plane open

Great map! Does get laggy with lots of players but I love the map! Bots do have trouble with this map though.

The game looks good, i like the door which opens and you can get the other team killed, but one problem is that the game crashes... is there a version which doesnt crash, could someone e-mail it to me if there is...

Another wonderful piece of art from 3D-Mike. The textures and layout are realistic in a wat that nothing seems out of place, the large cargo area where the Ts spawn is all metal and wiring while the upper pasenger areas are clean and organized, there is everything from bathrooms to an incredibly detailed cockpit. The plane is in mid-flight so pushing the button at the T spawn will result in the cago bay opening and sucking out anyone in front of it (plus some of the cargo goes out too!), the same thing happens if you shoot ANY of the emergency doors. Even playing with bots on this map is a joy, I highly recommend this map to anyone no matter how they play counter strike. I'd give it straight 5s but for the fact that it IS just a different set up of cs_747 (albiet much better though).

This map is so great. Its not very big but man does it do things i have never seen a map do before, best example is the door that explode when you shoot a them. That is so original. The layout is great apart from that fact that the teams start 5 yard away from each other. The look is almost perfect so well detailed, far better than cs_747, yet it is a big map in memory, took me ages to download. There are many bits of great unrealism, firstly we all know that if you shoot a window in a plane it should crack open and everyone should be sucked out and everone should die. Secondly who's flying plane and where are the passengers?

I've been playing this for awhile now. this is simply as good as an airplane map can get. absolutely realistic (so long as you can get past the fact that the T's shouldn't actually have to make their way to a designated bomsite instead of, say, just planting the bomb wherever the hell they feel like it to blow up a plane in mid-air), a ton of fun, especially when you deagle a door as some poor schmuck is walking past, and only as cramped as an actual 747 would be (not like that stupid mini 747 in it's cs predecessor). I like to start the map by blowing all the exists one by one. a little natural selection to weed out the stupider opponents.
this map deserves far better than a 4.

seriously, though, this is one of the best CS maps i've played in some time. some people complain that it's too small, but i find it to be a nice change from the random, impersonal (heh) firefights that usually occur in maps like dust or militia (which im not knocking, because it's right up there on my list). the textures are also some of the best i've seen in recent memory, and are a nice change from the CS defaults. the gameplay is definitely different from most CS maps, and while some may not like this, im rather fond of the fast voilent manner in which quite a few of the rounds i've played on this map so far have ended. the 'depressurization' is a cool little novelty, and i actually like the fact that the Ts objectives are somewhat limited, as it almost guarantees that the survivors of the initial onslaught are going to have to fight it out, instead of playing a game of cat and mouse, running circles around each other, tryng to find either the bomb or bombsite. i'm not going to say that this is the best map i've ever played, but it's not too far off. after looking at this in the map viewer, i did notice a couple of anomalies towards the front of the plane, but i haven;t experienced any problems in?game, so far.

This map is based upon a story line, the Terrorists bomb the plane the plane crashes and therefore here comes de_survivor, de_747 - de_survivor... de_survivor = The reminaing T's that survived the bombing, from de_747... That's my theory cause if you go into spectate and go out side the plane it says, OOPS air, and on de_survivor it says OOPS air... the map is great the cargo door i like the best cause i like jumping out then die. and since i have AMX on my server i have the plugin nukem which nukes the map, and it scared everyone, so ppl got sucked out of the side doors ppl killed themselves LOL, anyways its a great map. Textures are great. The CS Computer is... original.

This is a really good map, except it is a bit too small and crampt. But the textures and the look are amazing. Also it is really real, like a really plane, and the gameplay is really fun. I would give it 4/5.

How is this map a copy of cs_747? cs_747 was at an airport with a crappy airplane. The airplane looks great and I like how you can be sucked out when you shoot the doors. I gave it a 3 on layout because of the shoot of the back of the plane where llamas can just press the button and half the Terrorist team is gone. Great map nonetheless.

Well, this maps is cool, but every time when I get to the cockpit the game crash... but the map is cool, somethings like put the enemy off the plane by shoot on the door is great...

this map is good. i like the back door when you open it, everything get's sucked out. i don't like the thing about when i go into the washroom my cs closes on me and when i go down or up the stairs. on another note this map is better then cs_747

Truly this map is a work of art, one of my favorites! Yes it is somewhat small but has 21/2 levels in it to make it not as straight forward as the plane in cs_747. The lack of a second bombsite is the only flaw making it somewhat easy for the CTs to defend it(however, you can place the bomb on either of the top 2 levels). However the textures are beautiful and the detail realy stands out! Would make a better official map than cs_747 in my opinion.

This is the coolest map I`ve ever played. Cs_747 is boring and dosn`t looks like a real Boieng 747, but your map, de_747, is a great map and looks like a normal 747. It almost looks like "Air force One".
This map bet them all.

The graphics and detail are so meticulus(sp?)
like nothing ive ever seen b4 in cs. and getting sucked out doors and cargo ramps it a great (and funny) touch. play and see for your self - im of to find some waypoints

I thought this map was a nice break from the usual cs_747. The layout is nice, and there is nothing like shooting a door out in a firefight and having the enemy get sucked out. I wouldn't mind having more than one bombsite however (although I guess there are technically two). It gets a tad boring when the CTs always know you are heading to the front of the plane. Then I just shoot the door out and take a ride.

Very nice map. CT has to know how to build a good base cause else the plane will be blown up. It is not really hard to complete the mission. In one way this is is somewhere between tactical and fy maps. Action in this map is great. Even tho it takes a long time to download. Nice Airplane map.

Very different and original. Dispite being on the small side, this map is still fun as any other. Planes dont get much bigger than this anyway. The textures are perfection. I like it!

I dident personally like this map that much i found its to small of a mab but then again its an air plane. The T's are suppose to plant them bomb and CT are suppose to guard the bomb targets, Defuse if nessesary or kill off the Terrorist.

Congrads to 3Dmike for making another great map. de_747 takes place in a large air-plane. The t's must bomb and destroy the plane. This map is very detailed, and it looks great. The plane is airborn, and you can shoot the doors out and be sucked out of the plane. The cockpit is stunning, and the map is well layed out. A excellent map, give dust a break and play this!
